"All Flesh Is Grass" Announcement
All Flesh Is Grass is premiering at this year's Film Fest Know
Excited to announce my first feature film will be premiering at this year’s Film Fest Knox.
Filmed as a series of 20 durational sequences, “All Flesh is Grass” is an exercise in landscape cinema that delves into the themes of time, place, temporality, and spirit.
Drawing inspiration from the ancient Christian tradition of art as “windows into heaven,” the film aims to become a window into the often neglected environments around us.
Each shot invites the viewer to inhabit these spaces, creating a world for pause, reflection, and prayer, revealing the diverse scenery of Appalachia, particularly through the lens of East Tennessee.
The film will screen on Nov. 17th at 2:00PM as a part of Flicker & Wow, an experimental film block featuring two other shorts as well. Hope to see you there!
